As Medical Director to FRESHface Clinic, Dr. Wayne M Young brings years of experience to his patients. Trained initially in Johannesburg, South Africa, he then interned in the world famous Groote Schuur Hospital (where the world's first heart transplant was performed). Subsequently he trained in London, working in the Surgical departments of hospitals such as Royal Free and the Royal Marsden, and in a Harley St. clinic. He then returned to Johannesburg for further cosmetic surgical training. In Australia, he has trained extensively in General Surgery and in Plastic Surgery in all the leading teaching hospitals with many of Sydney's leading Plastic surgeons. Attending various local and international cosmetic surgical conferences and workshops yearly, Dr Young keeps up to date with the latest procedures and techniques. Dr Young brings his keen eye and innate sense of style to the fore when assessing and treating his patients, aiming for a "look" that is not only age appropriate, but in line with today's style. He is also in a unique position to have "insider knowledge" of who to refer his patients to, for procedures such as breast augmentation, facelifts, and rhinoplasty surgery for example.
